North Torrey Pines Living & Learning Neighborhood

ABOUT THE PROJECT
The North Torrey Pines Living & Learning Neighborhood at UC San Diego is an innovative,
mixed-use community designed to connect students, faculty, and staff by incorporating
residential, academic, and administrative spaces. For this inventive project, our team of experts
utilized our Polyscreen® Vision 650 with a 3% openness factor in many of the spaces, including
classrooms, conference rooms, student living facilities, and an auditorium. Our VX Screen
Blackout was also utilized in the classrooms, conference rooms, student living facilities, and
auditorium for light controlling capabilities and added privacy. In addition, this UCSD project
featured our new 4” Engineered Contract Clutch System, which was engineered specifically for
this project. For motorization, we utilized our VTi® Celtic Quick Connect Motors and Euro
Bracket System with additional Dual Side Channels.
